Executive Director Job Description
Provides direction and leadership in support of the mission of Redwood Coast Seniors and the achievement of its annual objectives.
Constructs annual budget and operating objectives for Board approval, and prudently manages the organization's financial and staff resources.
Supervises the design, marketing, and delivery all programs, products and services by Senior Center Staff, including: Dining Room Food Service; Meals On Wheels; Senior Bus Transportation; Client Social Services; Recreational and Educational Programs; and Volunteer Placement.
Assures that the organization, its mission and programs are effectively represented to relevant stakeholders.
Implements fundraising plans, including identifying resource requirements, researching funding sources, negotiating contracts, and implementing strategies for effective fund raising.
Provides staff support as needed to the Board of Directors.
Relevant experience/education may include:
Social Services Administration
Hospitality Services Administration
Recreational Facility Operation
Elder Care Supervision

Get psychological training and supervision to provide counseling support for elder clients dealing with difficult personal life issues.
MEALS ON WHEELS DRIVERS
Meals on Wheels drivers needed for 2 to 3 hours shifts 1 to 4 days a week and
on-call. Mileage reimbursed.

Redwood Coast Senior Center provides stimulating activities, essential programs, and services for active elders. Located in Fort Bragg, on the magnificent Mendocino Coast, our historic Community Center supports optimal wellness and healthy aging.
Redwood Coast Seniors is the 501(c)3 non-profit host to Redwood Coast Senior Center. (EIN: 23-7286987) Tax deductible contributions are an important source of funds for this program.
